Dry needling & Medical Acupuncture in Hayes, West London
Dry needling and medical acupuncture used alongside rehabilitation and hands-on therapy to support recovery and movement.
What is Dry Needling & Medical Acupuncture?
Dry needling and medical acupuncture are techniques used to help reduce muscular tension, improve movement and support pain management as part of a broader treatment and rehabilitation approach.
Fine needles are used to target areas of muscular tightness and trigger points that may be contributing to pain or movement restriction. Treatment is tailored to the individual and may be combined with hands-on therapy, rehabilitation and movement guidance depending on the nature of the problem.
Dry needling used within the clinic is based on modern musculoskeletal assessment and a Western medical understanding of pain, movement and soft tissue function.
Dry needling and medical acupuncture may help support recovery in a range of muscular, tendon, and movement-related conditions - helping reduce pain, improve movement, and complement rehabilitation-based care.

Dry needling may not be appropriate for everyone. Before treatment, your medical history and current health are reviewed to make sure it is suitable for you. Factors such as pregnancy, blood-thinning medication or bleeding disorders, infection or skin changes around the treatment area, needle phobia and certain medical conditions may need to be considered. If needling isn't appropriate, other treatment options can be discussed.

Some people experience temporary soreness, aching or minor bruising around the treated area. Occasionally you may feel tired or light-headed following treatment. These effects are generally short-lived, and you'll be advised on what to expect following your session.
